According to you, what makes an award winning shot?
According to me, a shot that involves the passion, skills, perspective, patience and analysis of a photographer How they can visualise a shot and how much hard work they put up to capture it, is an award winning shot
How did you get into travel photography?
Travelling and Photography has changed my perspective towards the world and history and made me more keen to travel and to know about the adventures happening around
Photography made me a curious person
I feel like knowing every reason behind the scenes or behind any historical moment
It helped me in analysing and going through the details of the usual places and things around us. It changed my perspective towards everything around me
What kind of equipment you use now, and what did you start with?
I use Canon 700D with the kit lenses and wide angle lens and even I use my iPhone to capture the pictures And I started capturing with Sony Cybershot digital camera
What are the techniques you used?
Patience and perspective are the main techniques that are used for photography
It is about how we visualise a shot before taking it through the camera
How do you plan a shoot?
Planning involves patience and analysing a particular place, looking for a perfect angle to capture the picture and spending some time with the places. Also by gathering the information about the place and the historical events that took place
What advice would you give to budding photographers who are just starting out?
My advice is that it is not necessary to have expensive gadgets in order to click pictures. If you have got skills and perspective then you can capture moments with a mobile phone too.
And it is not necessary to post all the pictures you have in your camera and phones to your social media accounts. Make a right choice, select the best ones and post them.
